Update on teletherapy (12/1/2021):
We are continuing to honor our clients and therapists personal comfort level regarding in-person therapy sessions. We will continue to offer sessions through the use of video conferencing for individual and couples therapy. We are also offering in-person therapy sessions in our office at 4131 Spicewood Springs Road, Suite G6 in Austin, Texas. We will be keeping up with the latest on safety procedures for in-person therapy and will make updates on this page when we have any changes to our current policy.
We are continuing to offer all of our regular services through a secure video and phone platform as well as now offering sessions in our office. Many of our clients have shown a preference for online therapy because of:
Access to therapy for people too far from our office
Easy to use
Being in the comfort of their own space
Research shows that teletherapy appointments can be just as effective as in-person appointments, and we can continue your care without interruption. If you prefer to meet online, just let us know when scheduling. All of our therapists offer online sessions.
Suggestions for an effective therapy appointment:
Identify a quiet, comfortable, and private room
Ensure access to your computer, tablet, or cell phone with a webcam
Give yourself a moment before the session to adjust your focus onto the purpose of your therapy session
