Skylar Naron is a Licensed Professional Counselor- Associate who sees couples and individuals experiencing issues related to intimacy, sexual shame, anxiety, and trauma. Skylar guides clients in letting go of shame in order to feel a greater sense of self-love.

Skylar works with people who are experiencing body image issues, pain during sex, sexual performance anxiety, or religious sexual shame. She also sees clients experiencing post-partum depression and anxiety or other women's issues. 

Skylar is a sex positive and an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist. She enjoys working with couples and individuals who are or are in the process of becoming ethically non-monogamous and is poly and kink aware.

Approach to Counseling

Through the use of Narrative Therapy and Feminist Theory, Skylar empowers her clients to let go of negative thoughts patterns in order to adopt new affirming beliefs about themselves.

 

She believes in the healing power of mindfulness practices and implements these techniques into her work with clients.

 

Skylar views relationships through both IMAGO Relationship Therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy perspectives.

Education

Skylar has a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

 

She is currently training in sex therapy and plans to pursue sex therapy certification.

50-minute session: $110

80-minute session: $175
