Skylar Naron

Skylar works with couples and individuals experiencing a variety of personal, relational, and sexual issues. Skylar is a sex positive therapist, who is LGBTQIA+ affirming and is poly and kink aware. She has experience helping people with body image issues, pain during sex, religious sexual shame, a loss of intimacy, sexual performance anxiety and past trauma. She enjoys working with couples and individuals who are or are in the process of becoming ethically non-monogamous. She has worked with people who have anxiety, ADHD, depression, gender dysphoria and postpartum depression. Skylar is passionate about helping people let go of shame in order to feel a greater sense of self-love.  

Through the use of Narrative Therapy and Feminist Theory, Skylar empowers her clients to let go of negative thoughts patterns in order to adopt new affirming beliefs about themselves. She believes in the healing power of mindfulness practices and implements these techniques into her work with clients. Skylar views relationships through both IMAGO Relationship Therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy perspectives.

Skylar has a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is currently training in sex therapy and plans to pursue sex therapy certification.

Skylar's rate is $80 for a 50-minute session and $120 for an 80-minute session.
