Clementyne Chambers

Counseling Intern

Supervised by Claudia Thompson, LMFT-S, LPC-S

Clementyne Margarita Chambers is a counseling intern offering personalized relationship therapy services in Austin, Texas. She works with individuals and couples navigating intimacy issues, including desire discrepancy, recurring conflict, emotional distance, and challenges in emotional and physical connection.

She is passionate about working with men around intimacy issues in relationships, including performance anxiety (such as erectile difficulties), porn use, and patterns that can impact emotional and physical connection. She offers a grounded, non-judgmental space to explore experiences that are often difficult to talk about with a partner or people close to them.

Most of us are not taught how to “do” relationships. Working alongside Clementyne expands the frontiers of how we understand intimacy, sexuality, and shadow work within a relational therapeutic container. Her approach is grounded in the belief that healing in relationship therapy is not only cognitive, but also embodied and relational. This is a deeply experiential process that integrates mind, body, heart, and spirit, while compassionately supporting clients in moving toward more conscious and connected ways of relating.

London-born and Austin-based, with Irish and Nigerian heritage, Clementyne has lived across South America, North America, and Europe, bringing a global, culturally attuned perspective to her work.

Approach to Counseling

Clementyne’s integrative approach to relationship therapy and intimacy work in Austin focuses on intimacy, sexuality, attachment patterns, and relational dynamics. She draws from Relational Life Therapy (RLT), Gottman-informed couples therapy techniques, and Coherence Therapy to support meaningful and sustainable change in relationships and to help clients navigate challenges such as communication breakdown, conflict in relationships, and emotional disconnection.

Together, these approaches offer practical, grounded tools for communication, conflict repair, and rebuilding trust and emotional and physical connection, while also supporting deeper transformation at the level of emotional learning and unconscious beliefs.

Her work is also grounded in somatic awareness and somatic therapy principles, supporting clients in reconnecting with the body as an essential part of emotional truth and relational healing. She offers experiential practices and relational tools that extend beyond the therapy room, helping clients translate insight into embodied change in all aspects of self and relationships.

Education

Clementyne is completing her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Texas State University. She is Gottman-informed (Levels 1 and 2) and holds a certification in Depth Psychology and Psychedelics from Pacifica Graduate Institute.

She is a Reiki Level I and II practitioner and a passionate yogi, integrating mindfulness and somatic practices into both her personal life and clinical work.

Outside the therapy room, Clementyne is an extroverted adventurer, jungle trekker, and creative writer who loves independent films and coffee shops in equal measure.
